President Trump's Presentation to Congress

I had attended an evening event and was eager to get home to watch the President. I arrived just minutes before he entered the Chamber so I got to watch the entire event.

As he entered the Chamber though, I quickly realized that people were holding signs. Some handwritten, others printed in the style of a ping-pong paddle. The first sign read "This is not normal" without explanation or context. As he continued to walk toward the dias, I realized that many people were holding these signs with different messages...all of which were perceived to be critical and negative. I finally realized that the sign holders were all democrats.

The President's entrance was accompanied by constant applause that continued well after he stood at the dias....but it was fully only from a part of the room. Half of the room was standing and applauding while the other, holding and waiving their signs, sat in silence. Silence until a senator from Texas decided to stand and start shouting at the President.

He presisted in his disruptive and disrespectful behavior as Speaker Johnson struck his gavel calling for order. He was warned but he persisted. He was told to sit down and to stop his behavior and he was warned again. In defiance while shouting and waving his cane, Speaker Mike Johnson quickly realized that he wasn't going to stop so he summoned the Seargant-At-Arms to have this elected official, removed from the Chamber. Fortunately, after a brief verbal interaction, he left with the security escort and his protest ended.

The remaining democrates continued to wave their signs and show their smirks. It was one of the most disrespectful of, and embarassng moments for, the American public.

These people have been elected to represent us. They hold an office of high esteem with the expectation of being respectful leaders.Their actions confirmed that they are less than honorable and certainly should not be holding the positions to which they were elected.

It is a disgrace to realize that they have a complete disregard for the people they represent. The election in November wasn't one with low margins - it was an election in which the silent majority stepped up and made a statement. We, the voters said ENOUGH. Enough of the endless spending, enough on the gender dysphoria being pushed onto everyone, enough of the political weaponization of the FBI, DOJ, CIA and countless other federal agencies. We voted and in doing so, told the Washington beauracrats that we have reached our limit and will no longer tolerate their nonsense.

It is time they remember who elected them and to whom they are accountable. It is time for nonsense like this to stop.
